Risk and health-promoting factors in the healthcare sector – organisational factors of importance to the health of employees

The Swedish Government has tasked the Swedish Agency for Work Environment Expertise to collect and compile knowledge about work environment risks and health-promoting factors among healthcare professionals. The Government task is underpinned by an ambition to offer everyone a sustainable, safe and healthy working life, including through a good work environment.This systematic literature review is part of the agency’s reporting on its government assigned task to “collect and compile knowledge about work environment risks and health-promoting factors among healthcare professionals” (Ref. No. S2021/06572 [in part]).

The work environment of teachers in compulsory schools during the Covid-19 pandemic

Read or download our report on how the Covid-19 pandemic affected the work environments of swedish teachers in compulsory schools. Unlike many other countries, compulsory schools (up to grade 9) in Sweden remained open during the pandemic and classroom-based teaching continued for both teachers and pupils. Changes to working methods in schools were implemented in order to prevent the spread of infection and keep activities running.

Working Environment Knowledge for Young People

We have produced an educational material on the work environment for pupils aged 13 to 16 years. Through theoretical and practical exercises, pupils gain knowledge of what work environment is, how to influence it and what risks and wellbeing factors at work can be.
