This guide is based on a previously completed government assignment focused on the organisational and social work environment of LGBTQ people. The results showed that microaggressions, discrimination, harassment, and poorer career opportunities are some of the challenges that LGBTQI people face in their workplaces.
The results also revealed a need for a guide aimed at employees, managers, HR representatives, safety representatives, and union representatives to help create inclusive workplaces for LGBTQI individuals.
