Rapid changes in working life place higher demands on work environment management

Working life is changing and developing at an increasingly rapid pace, and it is expected that the work environment and work environment efforts will keep pace.

We take it for granted that the working environment at Swedish workplaces must continue to be safe, promote participation, and encourage personal responsibility and learning. With this rapid development, the demands on employers’ work environment management are also increasing.

The report “Factors contributing to developed work environment management practices in the Swedish business sector” highlights the importance of company size and work organisation for work environment management. This report is based on data from a survey conducted by the Agency in 2019–2020, focusing on the correlation between work environment management and several factors, such as company size and work organisation within the Swedish business sector.
