Knowledge of the pandemic’s impact on the work environment

During the current pandemic, we have implemented several projects to identify challenges and possibilities that teleworking and working from home brought with themselves into the Swedish working life and work environment, as well as how the companies reacted in response to these challenges and opportunities.

Mapping and Analysis of Conditions for Working from Home during the Covid-19 Pandemic

After the pandemic, the question of where work is to be done will again be resolved in the dialogue between employer and employee. The positive experiences that have been reported indicate that working from home will be more commonplace after the pandemic than it was before. Regardless of the future scope of teleworking in the Swedish labor market, there is reason to take the work environment risks seriously – both those that have arisen during the pandemic and those that will remain after it.

Psychosocial working conditions, skills development, productivity, and balance between work and private life in telework

We compile research-based knowledge about teleworking from home during the pandemic with a special focus on comparisons of men’s and women’s conditions in the new situation with extensively selected or non-selected digitally based work from home. The report will be published in February 2022.

Measures in the Swedish business sector during the coronavirus pandemic

The purpose of this report is to provide a snapshot of health and safety measures applied by companies in Sweden during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, with a focus on the industries to which the companies belong.
