This call for tender invites tenderers to carry out a project to investigate policies, strategies, programmes and actions relevant to improve OSH in EU workplaces through supply chain relations, which could be further supported by innovative inspection practices, business incentives and social reporting schemes. It will serve to identify key success factors and describe best practice in fostering preventive action at workplace level and stimulate a process of mutual learning between EU member states.

The focus of this call for tender is to analyse how OSH can be improved through supply chain relations, however, the analysis will include interactions with further market-based influencing factors, such as social reporting initiatives or external economic incentives and thus go beyond existing research.
