Call ID: EUOSHA/2020/OP/D/SE/0116

The call will:

  • Provide a comparative analysis of the 2019 and 2014 findings for the sector, to the extent it is possible.
  • Look at ESENER 2009 with the aim to provide an overview of the evolution of OSH management practices in the sector over the last decade.
  • Compare the findings with those of the rest of sectors .
  • Not limit itself to an initial bivariate analysis but will carry out in-depth (multivariate) statistical analyses in response to research questions.
  • Cover the four main areas of the survey: (1) OSH Management, (2) Psychosocial risks, (3) Drivers and barriers and (4) Worker participation.
  • Focus too on the new sections included in the ESENER 2019 questionnaire, such as digitalisation and its impact on OSH, as well as the quality of external preventive services and the evaluation of accidents/sickness absence.
  • Have in mind the national sample boost (+1,250 interviews) in Ireland, where human health and social work activities was one of the two sectors that was deliberately over-represented.
